I am proud to say that Cherbourg Cyprus is officially open for business! The display is stocked with baked goods, coffee is being poured (over), and guests are currently sitting at tables and catching up. Carla Bruni is playing and it is easy to pretend that the Seine is flowing just around the bend; the European energy is impossibly compelling.
As a small business owner, I am well aware that the work is only just beginning, but every time I walk in, I am generally overwhelmed with gratitude. Over-the-Rhine has long been a bastion of culture, and the Findlay Market has stood at the heart of it all. I am so proud to be a part of this new wave of businesses taking root in OTR. My hope is that our style, story and general mood meshes well with this historic and awe-inspiring neighborhood. I fall in love with this area more and more every day, the warmth of the people, the families that have been here for generations, the countless stories told openly. It is this boundless hope and energy that lifts me up and makes me want to rise to the occasion.
